patiently until it was filled. One man near the front of the line
started conversing with the men around him about his
treasured Viagra prescription, and soon the other nine men
realized they were waiting for the same thing. While they
laughed about their upcoming Saturday night, I blushed!
The advent of Viagra has also spurred men to seek sexual
counseling and physical help. One study conducted by Pfizer,
the manufacturer of Viagra, indicated that 15% sought
counseling after Viagra became available as opposed to 7%
beforehand.
A number of surgeons are now recommending that
Viagra be used earlier rather than later after surgery. Some
even prescribe it shortly after the patient leaves the hospital,
not for intercourse but to "wake up" the nerves. If the nerve
sparing procedure is not successful, Viagra will not work, but,
fortunately, the tri-mix shots will. The future data on the use
of Viagra pre-and post-surgery should prove very interesting.

Unfortunately, Dick's beloved wife, Charlotte, died of a
