West Seattle is a peninsula that offered the best views. This is looking across Elliott Bay to the east. On the west side, where I lived before moving to Vashon Island, we had the view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. I was lucky to live directly on the Sound, just north of the Vashon ferry.
